Hi Gift, Engineering is everywhere and part of so many things that make our lives better and easier. Engineers work on technologies that make communications easier for people in remote areas, making water cleaner for developing countries, making renewable energy more accessible. From a space perspective, satellites provide so much information that improves our understanding of the world, that help us do things to make the world better.

Engineets contribute hugely to improving the world. Cleaning water dedigning sewage systems building bridges and transport systems. In my work I use satellite images to look for pollution in the oceans look at the health of forests and study how the ice masses are changing in the Arctic. So hopefully those things can help in some way to improve the world

Everything you see around you right now (unless you are standing in a forest…. although that may have been engineered in a sense) has been created through some type, or multiple types of engineering. Engineering helps us create things that make our life easier, more comfortable and helps us do things we never thought possible! The only things we are limited by are our imagination and the physical laws of the Universe!
