Hi, none of us have been to space, but when Astronauts go, there tends to be just a few of them in the rocket at a time.

Hello. Unfortunately none of us go to space :(. But if we were to go, at the moment the main option would be with the Russian Soyuz capsule which only seats three.

Currently 3 is the limit when you fly on the Russian soyuz rocket up to the international space station. There are some companies building small rockets (spacex, blue origin, virgin galactic) which will bring people to the edge of space and then come back again – space tourists – some of these will have room for up to 8 or 9 passengers at a time.

The International Space Statin always have people there. But after some time they come back to Earth and others go there. It also can only accomodate 3 people at any one time, but when the space transporters go up there can be more for a short period of time.
