• Question: When will the Philae Lander return to Earth?

      Sorry to say it will never return to Earth as the comet it is on never gets close to the Earth. It’ll stay on the comet until the comet disintegrates (in about 15,000 years time). But then as we are going to land Rosetta also on the comet, when the comet disintegrates both Rosetta & Philae will be floating in space close to one another again.
