The main thing we have to do is stop burning oil coal gas timber and stop burning forests. Basically we have to stop putting more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Engineers need to come up with efficient and cheap ways of generating energy from the sun , waves, tides and wind or other sources of renewable energy. We can do it already but the challenge is to make big enough equipment so we can do it efficiently and cheap enough so the whole world can use it.

I think if I could make people realise the impact of global warming on our planet in some way that made the problem seem as if it was on their doorstep right now, then maybe I could help stop global warming. At the moment, I think a lot of people don’t really feel that global warming impacts on their daily lives, so they tend not to worry about it too much. Or think that its someone else problem to fix. If I could find a way of telling a story to change that perception for people, I would be very proud and happy to do that.

Hi Zachy, good question. I would put all world leaders on the top of a rocket, put them into space so they can see that we live on a single planet and must work together to keep it clean. At present the majority of leaders are financially and politically motivated so they tend to think of their country and not the global view. Ok that’s the philosophical never going to happen answer.

Then there’s the realistic one; I personally cannot stop global warming. All I can do is help in some way to build satellites which contribute to mankinds understanding of where we come from and where we are going.
