Mine is about comets – their tails extend millions of km and are beautiful to see from Earth. The nucleus of a comet though is only a few kms in size. So much dust, ice and beauty from a tiny object.

I find the idea of planets pretty cool. In our solar system they are like the neighbours and each one is different and very interesting in its own way. Saturn with its rings is pretty awesome really.

My favourite topic about Space are the Astronauts and all the adventures that they have had in Space. And all the work that it takes to keep our astronauts safe in Space.

I like to look at the ESA images

and there is always something fascinating there to learn some more about… I have just been reading up about nebulas after seeing some of these images…

While I find Nebulas to be the most beautiful structures in space, I would say that my favorite topic about space is the possibility of us not being alone in the Universe. There is an unbelievable amount of stars and planets in the universe that it is highly unlikely for earth to be the only planet with life on it. I really hope that we can put our differences aside and work towards making our species a space fairing race. Not only for us to secure a future for our species, so that we aren’t dependent on just the earth, but so that we actually make some use of this possibility we’ve been given. We aren’t supposed to just stay on earth, there is so much more for us to see and do.
